Recently, when I turn on the camera, the S-IS1 indicator starts flashing (orange color). When I change the setting to S-IS2, its still flashing. When I change it to S-IS Off, it remains at S-IS1 and flashing.

1. The stabilisation in the Olympus e-M5 & e-P5 they call "5-axis" and is remarkably good. Other Olympus m4/3rds cameras use the lesser stabilisation and you can call it whatever you like. It works better on the heavier bodies in my experience. e-P1 e-P2 e-P3. "5-axis" is best but the name is unimportant.

A busted PL6 will sell on Ebay, for some amount more than the shipping. A nice looking, but inoperable OMD M10 just sold for $160, which makes little sense to me, but so do a lot of other things. Cameras wear out. When a PL6 wears out, the best thing to do is upgrade it. A brand new OMD M10 ii body costs $450, new, direct from Olympus.
